Job Description

The Role: 

IASPO is part of Communications Branch within Joint Systems Division.  IASPO’s role is to deliver capability through the acquisition and sustainment of cryptographic equipment for the Project.

 

The down-selected candidates will be integral members of a project team that will address the impact of the ageing COMSEC fleet throughout the Project.  The project will take a phased approach to the remediation, modernisation and sustainment of the COMSEC equipment and algorithms well into the future.  The first phase includes Communication Security Remediation and High Assurance Cryptographic Equipment capability improvement and will provide remediation through an initial like for like equipment replacement across nearly 30 different platforms executed by multiple SPOs and industry partners.  The down-selected candidates will form part of a team that is required to manage and conduct all program activities associated with the Gate 2 considerations.

 

Note that the following opportunity is for a six month tenure, ending 28 Feb 20, with scope for extension for further terms of six months, subject to performance. Please submit your response accordingly.  Beyond this time, we expects that the role will be given further extensions, subject to program progress. 

 

Skills and Qualifications
