Job Description
The intent of this contract is to secure expert resources that can provide support and sustainment for existing capabilities.
Skills and Knowledge required:
Essential Technical Competencies
Demonstrated knowledge and skills in:
Amazon Web Services (AWS) services,
AWS security features and best practice,
AWS design and implementation for elasticity and scalability,
AWS self-healing techniques, fault-tolerant services and disaster recovery and fail-over strategies.
deployment and management within AWS.
Demonstrated knowledge and skill in general ICT including:
• large-scale distributed systems
• multi-tier architectures
• loose coupling
• system performance tuning
• network concepts
• RESTful web services, XML and JSON
• Information and application security concepts including public key encryption, remote access, access credentials, and certificate-based authentication
Demonstrated knowledge and skill in cloud security, the risks, threats and protective measures and treatments that can be implemented.
Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Linux and Windows based environments.
Location and Contract Term: The role is based in Canberra. 12 month contract.
Security Requirements: NV1 security clearance required.
SFIA security level required: Level 3 - Advanced Practitioner
