Job Description
The Role:
The key elements of the work include:
The successful applicant will work as part of an agile multi-disciplinary team, delivering against a prioritised backlog of work. The business.gov.au website was recently upgraded to Sitecore 9.0. A key priority for the team at this time is to further improve business.gov.au, including implementation of personalisation and additional functionality. This is a blended team of business, design and technical team members. The team is continuing to build and grow its capability and maturity in user experience, including service design, user research, accessibility, content design, service performance analysis and testing with users.
Selection criteria
Essential criteria
- Minimum 2 year’s experience developing on Sitecore (8.2+)
- Experience developing web applications in .NET, C#
- Experience with front end technologies, particularly ReactJS
- Strong understanding of accessibility compliance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working at pace as part of an agile multi-disciplinary team
- Able to be co-located with the team at the department's Canberra office
- Experience developing on Sitecore 9.0 or later
- Experience in VSTS / Azure DevOps Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
- Experience working with search technologies, particularly Azure Web Search for Sitecore
- Experience working with .NET WebAPI
- Experience with Sitecore xDB, xConnect and implementing website personalisation
- Experience with Azure PaaS Cloud or equivalent cloud technology
Location and Contract Term:
The role is based in Canberra, 18 Month Contract with 1 X 12 Months extension options
