The key elements of the work include:
A position for an Actuarial Analyst in the Office of the Scheme Actuary at the department has become available. The role supports the Scheme Actuary to fulfil statutory requirements of the NDIS Act, together with other reporting, analysis and data management activities. Duties Responsibilities will include analytical work on a range of tasks, including actuarial monitoring and analyses, data tabulations, scheme projections, cost benefit analyses, ad hoc modelling requests and report production.
- An understanding of the disability sector and the nature of disability data will be well regarded.
- Tertiary qualifications in Actuarial Studies or Mathematics/Statistics and progress towards post university qualifications, Experience in extracting and analysing data, Knowledge of statistical and mathematical modelling techniques (e.g. SAS)
Location and Contract Term:
The role is based in Adelaide, 12 Month Contract with possible extension options
Entry Level checks will be required for all successful candidates and dependent on the role the appropriate working with children and/or vulnerable people checks may need to be undertaken as per State Legislation.
