Job Description
This project-based role will contribute to an on-premise to cloud (AWS) migration of several applications; a COTS product suite (OpenText CCM), several in-house C#/.NET applications, and multiple MSSQL databases. All of these components form an end-to-end system for enterprise correspondence delivery through multiple channels including paper and digital.

Key Duties:
The IT Database Administrator engages in work scoping, sourcing, and optimising database environment for analysis. They apply innovative analysis techniques and model results and scenarios, while maintaining the integrity of the system.
The IT Database Administrator is proficient with system databases, data elements and application software and other tool sets to develop enterprise data solutions.
The IT Database Administrator has extensive experience and an expert level of proficiency across a number of contemporary IT technologies, systems, servers, coding languages and databases.
They have a demonstrated ability to guide development of data requirements for projects and to drive a user experience that is easy to use and delivers the right information at the right time.
Skills and Experience Required:
Our ideal job seeker will have experience in:
Cloud migration experience (AWS preferred)
Experience with MSSQL 2012 & 2016, including stored procedures
Experience with database projects
Experience with database integration
Experience with Always-On availability groups
Database migration experience
Knowledge of database best practices
Location and Contract Term: This is a Brisbane (Chermside) based role. Contract till 30 January 2021 with 2 x 6 month contract extensions pending budget and delegate approval.
