We are seeking candidates capable of working under broad direction to perform analysis of business requirements, processes and systems.
As part of a small team, you will be working in a complex and fast paced environment. You should have demonstrated experience in business analysis, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. You will be involved in all aspects of the project lifecycle, including assisting to manage the organisational change resulting from projects.
In this role you will utilise your business and systems analytical skills to identify, create and facilitate process design changes across multiple implementation projects. The Business Analyst will be responsible for completing and updating project documentation, will identify opportunities
to enhance business and systems processes and apply usability requirements to software and processes as appropriate.
The role will also be accountable for developing and maintaining productive and collaborative working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including external agency stakeholders and key software vendors
Essential Skills and Experience Required:
The successful candidate with need a minimum of three to five years' experience in business analysis and information technology roles. Experience in cloud and virtualised ICT environments is vital and prior experience in Whole of Government transformational ICT programs and initiatives is desirable. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to identify, analyse, isolate and interpret business needs and generate requirements and produce appropriate artefacts. A capability in producing infographics will be highly regarded to describe business processes and ICT architectures.
You will have excellent verbal and written skills and the ability to communicate complex technical information across business and technical teams. Strong organisational and time management skills will be essential to manage multiple projects to ensure the delivery of timely, high quality project outcomes.
Location and Contract Term:
Canberra or Sydney based will be Remote working will be mandatory. 3 Month Contract with multiple options to extend.
Must be an Australian Citizen. Police Check is required.

Successful personnel must have the ability to provide their own device due to the shortage of laptops and other mobile devices. Devices will be configured to allow for remote access to necessary department infrastructure.
