Job Description



Seeking a Security Evaluation and Accreditation Consultant experienced in Federal Government.

 

Major Responsibilities:

The Contractor shall:

a. Analyse the technology environment, identifying the strengths and weaknesses of systems.

b. Analyse user requirements and identify how best to apply ICT security controls to support a superior security posture and achieve the end-users requirements.

c. Participate in ICT projects, informing technology selection and proposed system use-cases with ICT security best practice methodologies.

d. Produce security configuration documents, develop policy documents for systems and coordinate submission and engagement with Defence ICT Accreditation Authorities in consultation with Commonwealth representatives.

 

The Contractor shall meet Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA) levels:

a. Information Security (SCTY) Level 5

b. Systems Design (DESN) Level 4

c. Security Administration (SCAD) Level 6

 

Skills and Knowledge essential:

It is mandatory that the Contractor shall have the following skills and experience:

a. Information Security (minimum two years)

b. ICT Technical experience (minimum five years)

c. One of the following ICT qualifications:

(i) Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

(ii) Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or

(iii) Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Security Leadership Certificate (GSLC).

d. One of the following auditing qualifications:

(i) Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

(ii) Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)

(iii) GIAC Systems and Network Auditor (GSNA)

(iv) ISO27001 Lead Auditor, or

(v) Payment Card Industry (PCI) Qualified Security Assessor (QSA).

 

Location and Contract Term: The role is based in PERTH. 12 month contract.

 

Security Requirements: Current NV2 clearance required with ability to obtain PV clearance.
