Job Description

Level 2 Program Engineering Support
 
Skills and Knowledge required:
  1. Ability to undertake tasks successfully in an agile environment with limited direction
  2. Ability to support the production of project documentation expected under the large complex government department Capability Life Cycle with limited supervision
  3. Ability to engage with a large complex government department stakeholders and contractors
  4. Systems Engineering qualification
 
Level 3 Program Engineering / Integration Support
 
Skills and Knowledge required:
  1. Demonstrated Experience to undertake the task successfully in an agile environment to support the LC4 Program
  2. Experience in preparing and delivering project documentation expected under the large complex government department Capability Life Cycle desirable
  3. Demonstrated ability to engage with a large complex government department stakeholders and contractors
  4. Systems Engineering qualifications with a minimum of five years’ experience
 
Major Responsibilities:
  1. Provide advice and input into open architecture planning to support rapid integration of commercial technologies.
  2. Stakeholder Engagement.
  3. Risk Management.
  4. FIC Management.
  5. Cost Estimation.
  6. Issues Resolution.
  7. Management and mentoring of Level 2 Engineer.
 
Location and Contract Term: The role is based in Canberra.  12 months contract.
 
Security Requirements: Must be an Australian Citizen. Due to work environment, the client has requested that a current NV1 security clearance is preferred for this role.
