Job Description

The Project Support Officer will provide effective administration and assistance in managing activities and processes relating to training coordination, asset documentation, and procurement & finance activities.

Skills and Knowledge required:
  1. High-level proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite products.
  2. Desirable – Demonstrated experience in the use of Defence Financial systems.
  3. Desirable - Demonstrated experience in asset and records management.
  4. Desirable – Demonstrated experience in training coordination.

Major Responsibilities:
  1. Assist with development and successful completion of procurement submissions and supporting documentation in accordance with legislation and Commonwealth and agency procurement guidelines and procedures.
  2. Assist in the delivery of effective contract management support, contract variations, receipt and review of contract deliverables and administration of contract closures.
  3. Responsible for effective administration support including assistance with schedule maintenance, risks and issues tracking, financial administration and resource management.

SFIA security level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 4.

Location and Contract Term: The role is based in Canberra. 24 months contract.

Security Requirements: Current Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance is strongly preferred, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered.
