Job Description

ln order to achieve operational and strategic outcomes, our client proposes to engage a technical team to support the several critical incident response activities, and review related practices, policies and procedures in order to ensure that the compnay meets critical business outcomes.

The resources to be provided in this team will provide vital information assurance, information security, cyber security analysis and penetration testing to support operational outcomes over the next 20 months.

 

 

Major Responsibilities:

 

ii.            1 x Certification and Accreditation Consultant – Information Security (SCTY Level 5)

Develops corporate Information assurance policy, standards and guidelines. Contributes to the development of organisational strategies that address the evolving business risk and information control requirements. Drives adoption of and adherence to policies and standards through the provision of expert advice and guidance in order to ensure architectural principles are applied, requirements are defined and rigorous security testing is applied. Monitors environmental and market trends and pro-actively assesses impact on business strategies, benefits and risks.

 

The contractor will also be required to, in line with their SFIA Skill requirements, and in a multidisciplinary team:

•             liaise with internal and external stakeholders to understand and communicate requirements, challenges, risks and business impact as they relate to incident response activities;

•             provide critical subject matter expertise, advice and guidance in order to build in information assurance strategies throughout the incident response lifecycle;

•             liaise with internal and external stakeholders to understand and communicate requirements, challenges, risks and business impact as they relate to incident response activities; and

•             undertake analysis and reporting to support the management and execution of intelligence production;

 

Location and Contract Term: The role is based in Canberra. 12 month contract plus extension option.

 

Security Requirements: Current NV2 security clearance required
