Job Description

The Project Manager is accountable for the planning, management and delivery of new capability and extant system enhancements. The role will involve liaising and facilitating with business stakeholders, business analysts, program architects and development personnel.
 
Major Responsibilities / Skills and Knowledge required:
  1. Takes full responsibility of the Leading and management of activities for planning, development and implementation of projects and systems to meet organisational requirements.
  2. Advise and ensure improvement and enhancement of organisational project methodologies.
  3. Lead and manage capability lifecycles of systems development or enhancement.
  4. Plan, initiate and management of procurements to support program and organisational requirements.
  5. Lead and manage large stakeholder groups focused on business outcomes.
 
SFIA security level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 6.
 
Location and Contract Term: The role is based in Canberra. 12 months contract.
 
Security Requirements: Current Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance is strongly preferred, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered.
