The Cloud Application Developer will work to the Technical Team Lead. Within a team of like-minded individuals, you will primarily work in a fast-paced development environment with the freedom to independently approach, own and solve key problem sets.

SFIA security level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 4.
Location and Contract Term: The role is based in Canberra. 24-month contract.
Security Requirements: Current Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance is strongly preferred, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered.

Skills and Knowledge required:
- Knowledge of working with Service Delivery Management functions in accordance with the ITIL framework.
- Experience building web applications with modern JavaScript, HTML and CSS, including web application frameworks, libraries and build tools such as Jenkins and Artifactory.
- Possess good working knowledge of HTTP and experience consuming RESTful services.
- Experience in DevOps technology like Docker, Kubernetes and Ansible.
Major Responsibilities:
- Work with developers and stakeholders in feature development, system sustainment and support activities.
- Undertake sustainment tasks, resolve system defects, and alert management of critical issues as they arise.
- Define, develop, and test new user-facing features, including test automation. Create traceability records, from test cases to requirements. Produce test scripts, materials, and regression test packs to test new and amended software or services.
- Manage features and bug fixes throughout the development lifecycle.
