Job Description

Our Large Federal Government client is seeking to recruit talented individuals to deliver this new capability. The Software Tester will work within an agile multi-disciplinary Capability Delivery Team of Business Analysts, UX designers, Software Developers and Testers. Working within an agile multi-disciplinary Team their primary focus is to conduct software testing of internet facing web application. The position is full time onsite in our Canberra offices only.
 
 
Major Responsibilities / Skills and Knowledge required:
  1. Experience in software testing processes within an agile project environment.
  2. Extensive experience in functional, system and system integration testing of web-based applications.
  3. Experience in API testing and Third-Party application integration and dependencies.
Desirable criteria
  1. Experience with GovCMS platforms.
  2. Experience in web application testing across multiple devices, OS, and platforms.
  3. Experience in usability, accessibility, and browser-compatibility testing.
 
Estimated start date: 6-01-2021
Location of work: Australian Capital Territory.
Length of contract: 12 Months
Contract extensions: 12 months. Application for NV1 clearance is mandatory to exercise the extension.
 
Security Requirements: Due to the nature of the work, we require a minimum NV1 security clearance level.
