Job Description
The Role:
- Ensure effective project delivery through the provision of daily program support including quality, controls, standards, tools, and templates
- Provide guidance, planning assistance, co-ordination and compliance recommendations to Program and Project Managers and their team members, as they proceed through the delivery lifecycle
- Support Program Managers and the PMO by logging, tracking, consolidating, and reporting the detailed work activities, issues, risks, dependencies and impacts of all projects
- Organise and facilitate meetings/reviews including PIRs as required
- Provide effective management of key program/project documentation
- Comply with all Bureau work, health and safety policies and procedures, and take reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of employees, contractors and visitors who may be affected by your conduct.

Skills and Experience Required
Essential criteria
Candidates are expected to have worked within similarly large, complex programs of work, have relevant experience as a Program Coordinator and have a proven track record of delivering under deadlines and amongst broad stakeholder groups.
Mandatory
•Tertiary qualification –Business Management, Program/Project Management, or similar
•Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
•Exceptional organisational skills and disciplined work approach
•Ability to adapt to continually changing demands and priorities
•Minimum of 3 years' experience as Project/Program Coordinator
Desirable
•Experience within a large, complex multi-year transformation program
•Formal Project Management certification (e.g. PMBOK, Prince II or similar)
•Advanced MS Office -including Word, Excel, Access, Project, PowerPoint
•Previous experience in both the establishment and delivery phases of multi-year technology refresh and/or transformation programs;
•Demonstrated experience working with multiple project managers and broad stakeholders; and
•Excellent project domain knowledge
Location and Contract Term:
Melbourne Based – 12 Month Contract with 1 x 12 months and 1 x 6 months extension options
Security Requirements:
Must be an Australian Citizen. Ability to obtain Baseline Security Clearance.
