Job Description

The Role:

One of our Private clients is seeking a highly experienced Marketing Specialist to based in their Sydney office.

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
  • Cold call customers to secure suitable candidates for testimonials and case studies
  • Develop questions and facilitate customer interview for case studies
  • Transform customer interview into case study content and manage the approval process
  • Launch new case studies to sales team, update relevant cell sheet for tracking content, distribute approved version internally
  • Liaise with graphic designer on the look and feel of all new content created
  • Develop new content targeting SEO keywords, for resources section of the website
  • Understand the importance of good SEO techniques
  • Publish case studies, feature articles and blog articles on the site using CMS (sitecore)
  • Develop meta data, including meta keyword, meta title, meta descriptions, H1 headings, for all new content and update on CMS
  • Practice internal link building for all new content published on the site, linking meta keywords to their associated optimised page
  • Build ad hoc reports in Salesforce
  • Assist sales reps with building lead views in Salesforce
  • Monitor input of data in Salesforce and pinpoint concerns
  • Distribute new cold calling leads to sales reps, following one-on-one engagement to establish criteria for filtering
  • Develop campaign strategies and establish quarterly email calendars
  • Grow the email opt-in database, monitoring reps collection of opt-ins
  • Identify target audiences in Salesforce and build email campaigns around segment profiles
  • Create email content for relevant target audiences
  • A/B test email campaigns, to identify email successes and failures
  • Develop Facebook content calendar and schedule daily posts
  • Identify creative ways of engaging Facebook audience, such as polls, quizzes, facts
  • Source images for Facebook posts, researching iStock library and making edits on Photoshop to increase appeal and relevancy
  • Actively monitor engagement on Facebook profile, responding to all comments, negative and positive
  • Keep abreast of Facebook trends, researching competitor profiles and industry pages
  • Practice the 80/20 rule with marketing communications on Facebook, with 20% of content promoting brand and 80% of content engaging the audience 
  • Assist with the booking process for trade shows/events
  • Organise collateral and booth material for trade show/event
  • Establish email campaigns for owned database and attendee list audience
  • Work toward achieving lead, sit and unit conversion goals
  • Understand how tasks align with business goals
  • Actively engage with the sales team - keeping abreast of trends and challenges on the sales floor; developing relationship with reps to gain their trust
  • Attend sales morning meetings and frequently shadow on discovery calls, demo’s and training sessions

Location:  Sydney   
Contract Term: 12 months.
