Job Description

Sustainment Manager, you will use your project manager skills to interact and work closely with key stakeholders and vendor services to ensure that transitioned capability is successfully and robustly supported.
 
Skills and Knowledge:
  1. Experience in Support Management in compliance with ITIL V3 or V4.
Major Responsibilities
  1. Engage & influence key stakeholders, including, business partners, project personnel, infrastructure support teams and vendors, to ensure that current and transitioning capability support requirements are well understood.
  2. Contribute to the validation of transitioning capability, procedures, processes, documentation and training activities. Monitor and further develop these transitioned elements.
  3. Coordinate effective work flows, business processes and support with 1st Level Service Desk, 2nd Level large complex government department Service Support units, and 3rd and 4th Level vendors and original equipment manufacturers.
 
SFIA security level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 5.
Location and Contract Term: The role is based in Canberra. Contract Terms between 12 and 24 months will be considered.
Security Requirements: Current Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance is strongly preferred, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered.
