Job Description

The services of 4 x suitably qualified specialist administrative assistants is required to achieve the project goals and deliverables. These 4 roles would work simultaneously to scan against the two disparate media types, which require scanning on different scanners. The contractors will require solid computer skills and a solid practical level experience in scanning, or the ability to quickly acquire these skills prior to commencement.

Skills and Knowledge / Major Responsibilities
  1. Experience in working with scanning equipment, including 100% quality assurance of all scanned media and successful destruction of said media after scanning.
  2. Provide knowledge of current Records Management Principles, including the Australian Government 2011 Digital Transition Policy and the Digital Continuity 2020 Policy (DC2020). How have you ensured compliance with these policies in the past.
  3. Excellent ability to work in a team environment and maintain positive working relationships whilst working under tight deadlines.
  4. Evidenced experience in producing quality assured ingestion of media (including paper and film) into an electronic document management system.
Location and Contract Term: The role is based in Canberra. 12-month contract.
Security Requirements: Current Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance is strongly preferred, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered.
