Job Description

The Data Transfer and Support Analyst is required to provide ICT Customer Support and manual data transfers between ICT systems and clients. The Data Transfer and Support Analyst will attend to service requests and fault reports received from customers via telephone, email, in-person, or through the service request catalogue.
Skills and Knowledge:
  1. Demonstrated experience in Customer Service Delivery and Service Desk Operations with strong customer service focus.
  2. A good understanding of ICT systems, services, processes and associated policies.
  3. Completed the ITIL Foundation certificate or have a working knowledge of the service management principles and practices.
Major Responsibilities:
  1. Undertake client data transfer requests and process them within agreed timeframes.
  2. Report any issues identified during the processing of data transfers to the First Level Support Duty Analyst and the customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  3. Manage data transfer records by registering the media in the Records Management System and updating the records when disposing of the media.
  4. Work collaboratively with other analysts to coordinate the transfer of data and ensure the timely completion of requests.
Location and Contract Term: The role is based in Canberra. Contract terms between 12-24 months will be considered.
SFIA security level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 2.
Security Requirements: Current Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance is strongly preferred, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered.
