The Hardware Support, Logistics and Sustainment Officer (Asset Manager) is expected to provide support to the Project Management Office (PMO) with the primary focus being on the ongoing maintenance activities relating to Projects and the hardware they are responsible for. The types of hardware involved may include servers, blade centres, network devices and other related peripheral components, including PCI-e cards and media converters.
Skills and Knowledge:
SFIA security level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 4.
Security Requirements: Current Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance is strongly preferred, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered.

Skills and Knowledge:
- Understanding of datacentre and / or telecommunications hardware and the environments they are used in, including cabling and infrastructure variants.
- Support of various hardware types and analysis of hardware faults, including local and remote hardware interrogation, RMA management with vendors and reintegration/installation of equipment.
- Configure devices including, fault investigations, firmware upgrades, troubleshooting, monitoring and remote access.
- Undertake fault finding activities on several variants of hardware.
