Job Description

The Identity and Access Management Technical Specialist will draw on their deep subject matter expertise and experience to lead design activities and perform highly complex system integration work, to achieve organisational objectives for ICT identity, authentication and authorisation environments supported by the Intelligence Infrastructure branch in a large complex government department.
 
Skills and Knowledge:
  1. Subject Matter Expert for Entrust IdAM, and in Public Key Infrastructure.
  2. Expert knowledge of corporate directories, authorisation, and authentication services, including technologies, protocols and languages such as: Public Key Infrastructure, cryptography, Lightweight Directory Access Protocol and Security Assertion Markup Language.
Major Responsibilities:
  1. Enhance current PKI Certificate services and rationalise certificate authority infrastructure.
  2. Review current authorisation services and plan, document, develop and successfully deliver replacement capability.
  3. Plan, document, develop and integrate software using a DevOps methodology to assist with automation of key identity and access management capabilities.
Location and Contract Term: The role is based in Canberra. 12- or 24-month contract terms will be considered.
SFIA security level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 6.
Security Requirements: Current Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance is strongly preferred, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered.
