Job Description

Our Large Federal Government client is building a PROTECTED cloud system that will include desktops and a development and hosting platform hosted in Microsoft Azure, and the use of Microsoft 365 to enable collaboration.
Working within a Dynamic System Development Method (DSDM) agile project management framework, the successful candidate will work in a small team to incrementally deliver project outcomes of a new cloud environment for the organisation. The Business Analyst will be comfortable in applying agile delivery principles and practices to deliver business outcomes aligned to strategic goals.

Major Responsibilities / Skills and Knowledge required:
  1. Engaging with relevant stakeholders to elicit business and technical requirements and author documentation within an agile delivery framework, including but not limited to: prioritised requirements lists, requirements specifications, process maps, service design artefacts and functional and non-functional requirements.
  2. Using knowledge of business analysis methods and techniques to understand and articulate business and technical requirements.
  3. Working openly and collaboratively within the project team and with business and technical stakeholders across the organisation throughout all stages and aspects of the system development lifecycle to achieve project outcomes.
  4. Working with the team to continually improve agile processes.
Location of work: Canberra.
Length of contract: 12 months
Contract extensions: up to 24 months.
Security Requirements: Due to the nature of the work, we require a minimum Negative Vetting Level 2 security clearance level.
