Job Description

HPC is a specialist capability that has not been implemented at the enterprise level within our large Federal government client before. As such, the project is soliciting the services of business transformation/change managers who have experience with large-scale HPC systems and their application within a scientific research and modelling context.

Major Responsibilities / Skills and Knowledge required:
  1. Working closely with a large government department scientific staff to plan and implement the on-boarding of new HPC science projects. This includes working closely with researchers to develop research project security and data management plans, coordinate and deliver mandatory training and interface between scientific groups and the newly formed HPC team.
  2. HPC Business development and exploration of the co-investment opportunities.
  3. Co-ordination of HPC Technical Advisory Group and interaction with international partners including US HPC Modernisation Program.
  4. Have in-depth knowledge and experience with large-scale HPC systems and their application within a scientific research and modelling context.
 
 
Estimated start date: 01-07-2021
Location of work: Canberra, ACT
Length of contract: 12 months
Security Requirements: Due to the nature of the work, we require a minimum NV1 security clearance level.
