The Department requires an experienced and skilled IT Quality Assurance Manager.
• Deliver quality assurance objectives, strategies and plans, including identifying improvements to systems, processes and workflows.
• Deliver a quality assurance maturity roadmap that details further improvements, opportunities, risks and dependencies including recommending quality tools to monitor and control quality
•Deliver a data management strategy for test environments
•Mature end to end test capability
•Deliver and own quality assurance templates, processes and tools to enable delivery Provide assurance that the system is working as expected after each change and before each release
•Embed quality assurance and continuous improvement into service delivery processes
•Support and enable delivery teams to automate testing of new services as well as monitor the health of the platform and integration capabilities
•Manage automated testing tools, framework, documentation and test data setup
•Ensure alignment with organisational strategies/aspirations
•Mentor, develop and coach Department staff in development teams to develop knowledge and understanding of quality assurance and test strategies, artefacts, DevOps and CI/CD patterns
•Collaborate with stakeholders and other quality assurance and testing teams
•Integrate automated suites into delivery and release
•Identify standards and regulatory codes that assist with the documentation of processes and operating procedures
Skills and Experience Required:
•Experience or developed understanding of service development testing
•Knowledge of data management and information security practices
•Strong understanding of automation, particularly testing automation
•Experience working with DevOps and Agile methodologies
•Understanding of Microsoft Test Framework or similar applications
•Has experience working across a range of Team Foundation Server (TFS) pipelines
Location and Contract Term: This is a Canberra based role. Contract till March 2022 with 3 x 6 month contract extension options pending budget and delegate approval.
