Job Description

Our large government department client requires the services of one (1) x ICT Test Analyst (expected equivalent to SFIA - TEST Level 5) to coordinate and execute tests on a range of Geospatial infrastructure and software that is progressively being rolled out to our client sites around Australia under their Project. The ICT Test Analyst will be responsible for planning and carrying out a range of testing activities, including generation of test plans and reports, liaising with vendors and users to establish use cases, developing and maintaining test cases, and executing tests and documenting results to validate the functionality of Geospatial hardware and software. Testing will be conducted at  our client sites around Australia requiring some interstate travel.

Skills and Knowledge required / Major Responsibilities:
  1. Liaising with vendors and users to establish use cases.
  2. Developing, maintaining and refining test cases.
  3. Executing tests in various environments and documenting results.
  4. Reporting and tracking defects from discovery through to resolution.
  5. Generation of documentation directly related to their work including test plans, test results, test reports and other supporting material as required.
  6. Other tasks as assigned from time to time by our large government department client
  7. The ICT Test Analyst must be International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) certified.
 
Location of work: Australian Capital Territory
Length of contract: Until 30/06/2022.
Security Requirements: Due to the nature of the work, we require the NV1.
