About the Role:


The Culture and Strategy team is responsible for leading and implementing whole of government frameworks, developing and implementing organisational development strategies focusing on culture, capability and performance using business partnership, change and engagement approaches and methodologies. 

Culture and Strategy Advisors are responsible for the co-design, engagement planning and implementation for the effective implementation of whole of workforce strategies and initiatives aligned to our business priorities as outlined in the Business Plan and the People Strategy 2019-23.

The team uses contemporary agile government strategy, program and project design, delivery and management approaches including user-centred-service design, change, project management and engagement methodologies.  This position requires a team member with the skills to effectively develop and translate strategies for practical implementation, and successful delivery in partnership with individual TCCS business areas. This includes a focus on strategic HR areas of diversity and inclusion, workforce planning, and employee engagement.

About You:


The following capabilities form the criteria are required to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
  1. Demonstrated experience in researching, co-designing, developing and implementing practical strategies and frameworks for workplace culture, change strategies and projects.
  2. Demonstrated experience or knowledge of using contemporary agile methodologies to align strategy objectives and plan activities to set clear priorities, including delivering outcomes within defined timeframes.
  3. Highly developed oral and written communication skills, including the ability to strategically collaborate in a clear, concise and articulate manner.
  4. Demonstrated ability to prepare briefs, correspondence and promotional communication relating to project outcomes.
Professional / Technical Skills and Knowledge
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in strategic government agile policy, project management and service design methodologies.
  • Accreditation, skills or knowledge of formal stakeholder and/or business engagement methodologies.
Estimated start date: ASAP

Length of contract: 5 Months

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
  • To be eligible for employment for this role, you must be in Australia on a visa with work rights or be an Australian citizen or permanent resident. (ACT Gov)
  • A National Police Check is required for the successful candidate prior to commence this role.
