Our large government department client is seeking a Systems Engineer who will be accountable under general direction to manage complex activities and tasks relating to requirements development, system definition, design and development, integration, verification and validation. The role will facilitate planning, organisation, integration and delivery of complex systems engineering services and products.
Skills and Knowledge required / Major Responsibilities:
Contract term: 12 months.
Extension Option: The Commonwealth may seek to extend the contract by up to two (2) x 12 month periods.
Security Requirements: Due to the nature of the work, the client requires a Security Clearance of NV1. At the Commonwealths discretion, the Specified Personnel will be required to obtain a Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) clearance.

Skills and Knowledge required / Major Responsibilities:
- Participate in development of concept design, systems architecture and multi-system interfaces.
- Provide Systems engineering support to all stages of CLC (Capability Life Cycle).
- Provide technical oversight to the vendor on matters of engineering design, industry standards and adherence to principles of systems engineering.
- Participate in systems engineering milestone reviews.
- Prepare and draft OCD (Operational Concept Document) based on stakeholder needs.
- Relevant professional qualifications (engineering). Expertise in advanced multidisciplinary engineering, concepts, principles, practices, standards, methods, techniques, materials and equipment sufficient to apply experimental theories, principles and concepts to project development.
