Our large government client is looking for a Service Desk officer who will be the primary contact point for the ICT Service Desk. They will be responsible for troubleshooting and supporting users and their systems, managing incidents and problems, as well as engaging and liaising with staff to ensure their requirements are met.

Contract Extensions: 2 x 12 months
Security Requirements: Due to the nature of this role, we require an active TSPV security clearance.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Primary contact officer for the ICT Service Desk, responsible for prioritising and resolving service desk tickets, and monitoring trends.
- Allocate and escalate service desk tickets as required.
- Liaise internally and with external agencies/stakeholders to proactively identify issues and communicate service availability.
- Provide technical support, advice and assistance to staff as required.
- Provide assistance to ICT team where required.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Microsoft Windows
- Microsoft Office (including Exchange email administration skills)
- Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Office Online etc.)
- Cisco Phones / Collaboration (Jabber)
- VDI (Citrix)
- Mobile Device Management (iOS Devices)
- Familiarity with Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira)
