Overview
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Test Lead - Azure Cloud and Automation Engineer/Architect to join an ongoing project delivering operational capabilities to clients. The successful candidate will work with the projects current Solutions Architect to drive and deliver an expansion of services to the Azure platform, as well as work within the current AWS platform providing Automation capabilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving innovation, ideating and facilitating the implementation of the system design, meeting our customer requirements withing the Azure domain.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving innovation, ideating and facilitating the implementation of the system design, meeting our customer requirements withing the Azure domain.
Responsibilities
- 5+ years as an Azure Cloud and Automation Engineer/Architect
- Experience working in a highly secure domain
- Minimum NV1 preferable NV2 security clearance
- Experienced in driving implementation and delivery of projects.
- Strong Experienced in Automation ie Ansible and GIT
- Designing and developing test automation scripts
- Review functional and technical requirements, perform research and analysis of test data as required for test examination to ensure products are fully usable and acceptable for release
- Using test automation guidelines
- Researching issues in software through testing
- Collaborating with Developers to develop solutions
- Supporting and guiding developers as part of Test Driven Development approach
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Automation Testing matters
- Participates in the E2E design, development, integration and testing of platforms and services
- Conduct backlog refinement and task estimation
Essential Experience
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing test automation scripts
- Ability to solve complex technical problems
- NV1 with the ability to pass additional security assessments
- Strong Experienced in Automation ie Ansible and GIT
Desirable Experience
- Experience delivering testing as part of a CI/CD pipeline following a DevSecOps approach
- Experience with GIT or equivalent code management tools
- Working in Agile teams
- Experience in Government Secure Environments
- Working with network monitoring and security monitoring platforms
- Experience testing infrastructure as code
- Working in a project environment – below the line
