Our large government department client requires an experienced Business Analyst to provide extensive coordination and guidance on methods, processes, practices, lessons learned and risk mitigation for the development of collection capabilities. The Business Analyst is required to elicit the business and technical requirements and the modelling of new and existing business processes to inform capability requirements and development.

Contract term: 12 months.
Extension Option: The Commonwealth may seek to extend the contract by up to two (2) x 12 month periods.
Security Requirements: Due to the nature of the work, the client requires a Security Clearance of TSPV.

- Excellent interpersonal, organisational and management skills to conceptualize and effectively lead a complex analytic project with limited supervision, ability to work collegiately to find a consensus solution when views differ among stakeholders, and ability to effectively work independently and within a team or collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- In collaboration with the project team, gather, document, communicate and manage technical and capability requirements from key stakeholders.
- Use knowledge of data, systems, and their intersections to provide information from the most applicable data source/s in response to standard or ad hoc requests in support of program goals and objectives as well as in support of capability development and strategic guidance.
- Model complex technical and business processes.
