The Role:
The ICT Operations Section, Information Communications Technology Branch is responsible for delivery of all ICT operations that underpin the business of the Department through its strategic partnership with clients, stakeholders, suppliers, and social inclusion with other government departments. As a member of the ICT Operations Section you will share responsibility for the day to day management and support of the Agency’s ICT services and associated infrastructure platforms.
Skills and Experience Required:
• Proactively identify issues and take corrective actions as required to avoid system outages
• Undertake System Administration and Hardware/Software configuration tasks
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support while adhering to change management policies with regard to system administration tasks
• Provide input to resolve day-to-day operational issues
• Monitoring of system services and resolution management between internal and 3rd party providers.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and relevant Systems documentation for servers and clients
• Assist with project delivery, including system design, deployment and documentation.
Contract Term - 12 month contract with an approx start date of 1 July 2019 (or sooner if possible)
