Seeking a Azure Cloud Solution Engineer / Architect with experience and skills across a broad range of ICT systems and environments, including identity platforms.
The Role:
The Cyber Security and Networks Branch within the Departments Information Management and Technology Division, has a requirement for a labour-hire resource to fill the role of Azure Cloud Solution Engineer / Architect to provide planning, development and implementation services in support of the Departments adoption of Software, Platform and Infrastructure ‘as a service’ offerings
Skills and Experience Required:
Essential
• Knowledge and experience in architecting foundational and solution centric Azure capabilities.
• Knowledge and experience in delivering ‘as a service’ capabilities using Azure technologies.
• Knowledge and experience in securing Azure technologies to a IRAP PROTECTED level.
• Knowledge and experience designing and implementing and troubleshooting secure networks in Azure, including: oExpress Route oSite-to-Site VPN oRouting oVNET ACLs oNetwork Security Groups oAzure Network Firewall
• Hands-on experience in designing and implementing Azure Subscriptions and Tenancies.
• Hands-on experience in Entra ID in a multi tenancy Azure environments with Azure Policies.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing on-premises and ‘as a service’ capabilities.
• Understanding and experience in the application of Systems Engineering methodologies for complex ICT system development.
• Ability to provide engineering guidance and leadership within one or more technology domains.
• Experience with one or more of: oARM templates oAzure CLI oAzure software libraries
Location and Contract Term:
This role is based in ACT with remote/flexible working conditions considered.
Contract:
12 month contract with 1 x 12-month extension options pending budget and delegate approval.
Security Requirements: NV1 security clearance (NV2 preferred) is required for this role.
