Are you a proactive leader passionate about safety, compliance, and continuous improvement? We’re seeking a dynamic SHEQ Manager to drive our organisation’s Safety, Health, Environment, Quality, and Compliance framework—including Return-to-Work (RTW) coordination.
About the Role
As the SHEQ Manager, you’ll lead the development and implementation of SHEQ policies and procedures, ensuring full compliance with legislative, contractual, and industry standards. You’ll champion a culture of safety and excellence, working closely with operational teams and stakeholders to deliver best practice outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain WHS policies, procedures, and risk management strategies.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
- Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Manage internal and external audits (Quality, WHS, Environmental), maintaining ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001, 27001).
- Oversee compliance, including company and labour hire licences, insurance, and contractor onboarding.
- Act as the Return-to-Work Coordinator, supporting injured or ill employees with tailored rehabilitation plans.
- Maintain document control and support tender submissions.
- Identify and deliver SHEQ-related training for staff and managers.
- Engage with operational managers, HR, and industry bodies to embed a culture of compliance and safety.
- Diploma or higher qualification in Work Health and Safety (minimum Cert IV WHS).
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, ISO standards, and compliance frameworks.
- Proven experience in SHEQ management within security, cleaning, or related industries.
- Solid understanding of Workers Compensation and RTW obligations.
- Excellent auditing, risk management, and incident investigation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence at all levels.
- RTW Coordinator accreditation (where required).
- Experience with multi-site operations and compliance portals (e.g., CM3, Rapid Global).
- Familiarity with labour hire legislation and industry awards.

- Security Licence (minimum 2B & E)
- Test & Tag Qualification
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
- Current Driver’s Licence
