About the role
As the contracts specialist you will lead the commercial and contract strategy on a key 6-month engagement. You will define and manage all aspects of contracting (drafting, negotiation, compliance, risk) to ensure our deliverables align with the client’s standards and contractual obligations.
Role Responsibilities
- Establish a robust contracts governance framework, including contract register, milestone tracking, change control
- Improve or implement contract management processes, policies and templates specific to Defence needs
- Monitor contract performance, prepare reports, manage close-out of contracts
- Strong commercial / legal acumen in contract risk, negotiation, performance obligations
- Experience with governance, compliance, contract administration, change control
- Excellent stakeholder management (internal and external)

To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. Due to the work environment, our client has requested that all candidates are required to hold a current NV1 Security Clearance.
