About the role

As the contracts specialist you will lead the commercial and contract strategy on a key 6-month engagement. You will define and manage all aspects of contracting (drafting, negotiation, compliance, risk) to ensure our deliverables align with the client’s standards and contractual obligations.

Role Responsibilities
  • Establish a robust contracts governance framework, including contract register, milestone tracking, change control
  • Improve or implement contract management processes, policies and templates specific to Defence needs
  • Monitor contract performance, prepare reports, manage close-out of contracts
Qualifications and Experience
  • Strong commercial / legal acumen in contract risk, negotiation, performance obligations
  • Experience with governance, compliance, contract administration, change control
  • Excellent stakeholder management (internal and external)
The successful candidate will have experience working in a Defence Environment.

Security Requirements:

To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. Due to the work environment, our client has requested that all candidates are required to hold a current NV1 Security Clearance.
