About the role:
We are seeking an experienced ERP Architect (SAP S/4HANA) to join a high-performing team focused on finance and cross-module integration. You’ll play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimising SAP solutions, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and ensuring successful delivery of large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute robust SAP S/4HANA solution strategies aligned with business growth objectives.
- Lead the design and conversion of business requirements into high-level SAP solutions across finance, logistics, asset management, and HCM.
- Support consulting and license presales opportunities, including requirements gathering, scoping, and estimation.
- Architect and deliver SAP S/4HANA solutions with hands-on expertise in SAP FI/CO and cross-module integration.
- Provide guidance on SAP SCM, SAP EAM, SAP EPPM, and related modules.
- Advise on best-fit S/4HANA strategies, including new installations and conversions tailored to customer environments.
- Ensure effective integration with SAP Cloud products (ARIBA, CONCUR, FIELDGLASS) and advanced finance functions (asset accounting, central finance).
- Deliver customer value as a central theme, ensuring solutions align with client strategic goals and deliver tangible business benefits.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders (CFO, CIO), shaping transformation agendas and governance frameworks.
- Lead and mentor distributed teams in the delivery of multi-shore consulting projects.
- Oversee programme execution, change management, and operational governance to ensure sustainable customer value.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing consulting team, nurturing and developing top talent.
- Leverage your professional network to attract diverse talent and mentor future consulting leaders.
- Engage with industry leaders and analysts, contributing to thought leadership through publications, presentations, and social media.
- Help position the organisation as a leader in SAP S/4HANA solutions for asset-intensive and utility sectors.
- 10+ years’ experience in SAP solution architecture, with a strong finance background and hands-on SAP FI/CO consulting experience.
- Proven track record in leading high-level solution design for large-scale SAP implementations, including S/4HANA.
- Expertise in cross-module integration and working understanding of SAP SCM, EAM, and EPPM.
- Experience in asset-intensive industries or utilities is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective SAP solutions.
- Experience in developing systems requirements, prototyping, testing, training, and implementing business solutions under tight deadlines.
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer handling skills and ability to lead and mentor teams.
- Collaborative mindset with a desire to learn and shape career paths.
- Experience with SAP Cloud products (ARIBA, CONCUR, FIELDGLASS).

This is a contract role based in Sydney, with a duration of 6+ months and immediate start available. You’ll play a key role in delivering robust, secure, and innovative SAP solutions for asset-intensive and utility sectors in a dynamic, high-impact environment.
