About the role:
ICT Procurement Officers to assist across several ICT projects. The successful candidate will work closely with the programs Procurement Manager, engaging with project, technical and executive stakeholders to deliver on IT procurement activities. They will also be required to assist in various ad-hoc technology administration tasks where required.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage ICT procurement activities, offering advice and support for various procurement levels.
- Assist in preparing procurement approval documents specific to ICT program for labour hire, software hardware BuyICT panels etc
- Administer tender documentation through the Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) BuyICT panels.
- With IT focus, deliver high-level customer service to internal clients and stakeholders, engaging Agency representatives and seeking feedback.
- For the ICT program of work, build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders and suppliers, managing contract inquiries, issues, disputes, variations, risks, and negotiations.
- Solve ICT contract-related issues.
- Oversee ICT mailbox management.
- Experience with simple and complex ICT tenders and Whole-of-Australian-Government (WoAG) ICT procurement processes.
The Successful Candidate:
- Four years' experience working within ICT Government Procurement.
- Thorough understanding of the PGPA Act and CPR’s and BuyICT processes for ICT related procurement.
- Ability to undertake analysis of IT suppliers, markets, products and service categories to inform ICT procurement planning.
- Assist in the administration of ICT tender evaluation reports for consideration and approval.
- Ability to deliver to tight timeframes as well as having excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
Security Clearance and Location: NV1 security clearance is required and Canberra.
