About the Role:
Our Federal Client is looking for a seeks to engage a Build Automation Technical Specialist to support the contractor workforce within the team. This is a hands-on technical role focused on developing automation tools to streamline the build, configuration, and deployment of deployable ICT nodes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation tools to support ICT node deployment
- Contribute to toolset development that reduces manual effort and cost
- Provide technical advice and input into project planning and risk management
- Maintain and enhance the DevSecOps environment, including tooling and compliance
- Produce technical documentation and liaise with technical SMEs
- Deliver limited training on environment usage where required
- Enforce configuration management and version control practices
- Support capability upgrades and expansion planning for the Land Combat Systems Support Environment
- Experience with:
- PowerShell, Ansible, and related scripting technologies
- DevSecOps methodologies and toolsets
- GitLab
- Container workloads and Kubernetes
- Microsoft and Linux operating systems and enterprise applications
- VMware suite of datacentre products
- Version-controlled infrastructure deployments
- Automating patching, updates, and compliance checks
Full-time onsite Canberra, ACT.
Security Requirements:
To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. Due to the work environment, our client has requested that all candidates are required to hold a current NV1 Security Clearance.
