About the Role:

Our Federal Client is looking for a seeks to engage a Build Automation Technical Specialist to support the contractor workforce within the team. This is a hands-on technical role focused on developing automation tools to streamline the build, configuration, and deployment of deployable ICT nodes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation tools to support ICT node deployment
  • Contribute to toolset development that reduces manual effort and cost
  • Provide technical advice and input into project planning and risk management
  • Maintain and enhance the DevSecOps environment, including tooling and compliance
  • Produce technical documentation and liaise with technical SMEs
  • Deliver limited training on environment usage where required
  • Enforce configuration management and version control practices
  • Support capability upgrades and expansion planning for the Land Combat Systems Support Environment
Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with:
  • PowerShell, Ansible, and related scripting technologies
  • DevSecOps methodologies and toolsets
  • GitLab
  • Container workloads and Kubernetes
  • Microsoft and Linux operating systems and enterprise applications
  • VMware suite of datacentre products
  • Version-controlled infrastructure deployments
  • Automating patching, updates, and compliance checks
Work Environment:

Full-time onsite Canberra,  ACT.

Security Requirements:

To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. Due to the work environment, our client has requested that all candidates are required to hold a current NV1 Security Clearance.
