About the Role
This position supports the development and maintenance of a sophisticated digital design environment. You will apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles using CATIA and SysML, and produce modelling artefacts aligned with the NATO Architecture Framework (NAF). The role involves hands-on modelling, maintaining libraries, and working closely with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake system modelling using the CATIA tool.
- Maintain and manage the data model and associated libraries.
- Develop and document modelling artefacts, including NAF artefacts.
- Support planning and execution of modelling activities.
- Collaborate with capability managers, acquisition agencies, and external service providers.
- Provide ad hoc modelling services and undertake training as required.
You will have:
- Proven ability to perform Model-Based Systems Engineering within CATIA.
- A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of SysML and experience writing engineering documentation.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in CATIA modelling tool.
- Experience with systems or network modelling.
- Familiarity with NATO Architecture Framework (NAF).
- Exposure to complex engineering processes or large-scale systems.
- A 12-month contract with two 12-month extension options.
