About the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Security Consultant to join a dynamic team focused on SAP HANA Application Security. You’ll play a key role in designing, analysing, and implementing security roles and access controls, collaborating with business and process architects, and ensuring compliance with best practices and client requirements.
Applicants must have an active NV1 Security Clearance
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the SAP Security role build process across multiple SAP platforms, including role design, analysis, and workshops with business and process architects.
- Administer and manage SAP Identity Management (IdM) toolsets.
- Investigate, develop, and integrate new roles, groups, and teams within SAP Cloud Solutions.
- Ensure seamless integration of new roles and access designs with existing SAP environments.
- Drive resolution of defects and issues by understanding client needs and presenting effective solutions.
- Identify, develop, and implement solutions to address security gaps and meet business needs.
- Deliver high-profile activities within tight timescales and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
- Manage stakeholders and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Security role build processes across multiple SAP platforms.
- Experience in role design, analysis, and leading workshops with business and process architects.
- Familiarity with SAP IdM administration and general SAP IdM toolset.
- Experience integrating roles and access controls within SAP Cloud and on-premise environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to deliver results under tight deadlines and contribute to team success.
- Strong stakeholder management and client engagement skills.
- Active NV1 AGSVA security clearance is mandatory.
- Strong presentation skills and experience in client relationship management.
- Willingness to take on new challenges and expand expertise in new areas.
- Aspirations for team leadership or project management.
- Ambition to expand your network within the SAP community.
This is a long-term multi-year contract role based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Canberra. You’ll play a key role in delivering secure, compliant, and high-impact SAP solutions in a dynamic enterprise environment.
