About the role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic SAP Solution Architect with AGSVA security clearance to lead the development and delivery of comprehensive SAP technical architectures. You’ll play a key role in aligning SAP strategies with business objectives, driving innovation, and mentoring a team of senior architects across complex projects.
Applicants must have an active NV1 Security Clearance
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive SAP technical architectures aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on SAP technical architecture and design.
- Design and architect secure, scalable SAP environments using best practices and industry standards.
- Implement advanced SAP solutions to enhance business processes and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain SAP technical architecture blueprints, roadmaps, and reference architectures.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with SAP implementations and operations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including ISO 27001 and NIST.
- Lead complex SAP projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
- Mentor and lead a team of senior SAP technical architects, fostering continuous learning and high performance.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.
- Communicate complex SAP concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Drive innovation in SAP practices, leveraging emerging technologies and methodologies.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and SAP awareness within the organisation.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- AGSVA security clearance (NV1) is mandatory; applicants must be Australian Citizens.
- Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Solution Architect, SAP Certified Technology Associate).
- Extensive experience as an SAP Technical Architect, with a proven track record in advanced SAP technical architectures and solutions.
- Demonstrated expertise in SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, and Cloud technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP technical architecture and best practices.
- Proficiency in SAP security features and services.
- Strong understanding of technical architecture frameworks, standards, and regulations.
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager, SAP Fiori, and SAP Cloud Technologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal); additional language skills are an asset.
- Experience leading large, complex SAP projects.
- Familiarity with emerging SAP technologies and methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
This is a long-term contract role based in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, or Ballarat, with the potential for conversion to permanent. You’ll play a key role in delivering robust, secure, and innovative SAP solutions in a dynamic, high-impact environment.
