About the Role: Take the lead in shaping cutting-edge infrastructure as a Senior Automation and Virtualisation Specialist, where you'll manage and evolve enterprise-grade platforms including Aria Automation, NSX, Aria Operations and Site Recovery Manager. You'll also drive the performance and resilience of VMware vSphere and Cloud Foundation environments, working hands-on with rack-mounted and blade server infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to produce high-impact design and operations documentation, share knowledge across teams and mentor the next generation of engineers—all within a dynamic and forward-looking technical environment.
The Successful Candidate:
- Demonstrated experience in few of the following technologies: Aria Automation, Aria Orchestrator, VMware NSX, Aria Operations, SiteRecovery Manager, VMware vSphere and Cloud Foundation
- Demonstrated scripting and coding experience in few of the following: PowerShell, PowerCLI, YAML, JavaScript
- Ability to produce design, build and operations documents for processes and procedures.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills to work with skilled technical people, including making presentations to staff and stakeholders and coaching staff.
- Experience in administering Veeam Backup and Replication
What is on Offer for the Role:
Hourly Rate: $140.00-$160.00 per hour
Location:
This role is based in Canberra
Contract Term: 12 months plus 12-month extension option
Security Requirements:
Applicants must be Australian Citizens and hold a baseline security clearance.
