About the role:
As part of the Data Platform Regulatory Compliance initiative, we are looking to further increase our delivery capability and hire a senior business analyst to help us uplift several existing processes, establish new technical workflow capability to ensure successful risk and issue closure. You will be working closely with a diverse range of stakeholders to document and support the deliveries of the business and technical requirements that will satisfy regulatory and business
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with business and technical SMEs and stakeholders to gather and interpret business pain points; explore, agree and document clear business and data requirements as well as functional and non-functional requirements.
- Analyse current operational and reporting solutions for the data flows in scope for the program
- Work with the relevant business and technology teams to develop, agree and document target state processes.
- Support required parties across the project and stakeholder community to achieve required governance and compliance deliverables.
- Work with various technical delivery teams and external partners to support new capability for the organisation.
- Familiar with Agile delivery methodology. Ability to break down scope / concepts to tasks and deliver in an iterative fashion.
- Incorporate project, data analysis and business analysis best practices and incorporate continuous improvement practices into project delivery.
- Ensure that risks are identified, prepare business impacts and risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies.
The Successful Candidate
- Strong delivery background and possess experience in Data related projects, data governance, data quality and proficiency in requirements definition and current/target state process documentation
- Strong stakeholder management skills - including skills in negotiation, ability to develop trust, confidence, and consensus.
- Minimum 3-5 years Business Analysis/Technical Business Analysis experience.
- Data and systems – particularly those related to data platforms, compliance and regulatory reporting.
- Worked on Regulatory Reporting / APRA initiatives including EFS, Basel III, APS220, CCC pilot, APRA COVID Cube, IFRS9 / SRDE, or similar.
- Strong analytical, organisation and time management.
- Experience in working across remote, co-located teams.
- Exposure to Agile project delivery and tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence).
What's offer?
This contract is available for an initial 6-month term with likely extension on a long-term project. Located in Sydney, this role offers a hybrid working arrangement.
