About the role
As the Project & Governance Officer you’ll be responsible for supporting, coordinating and assisting with the management of all multi-jurisdictional governance arrangements for the Program and working with the Stakeholder Engagement Lead, ensuring all the programs governance needs are fully managed. The Governance Officer is a key member of the team that coordinates governance arrangements on behalf of the program and works effectively with a broad stakeholder community both internal and external to the program.
Role Responsibilities
- The preparation of correspondence, presentations, reports, briefs and other communications for project boards, governance bodies, management, and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Schedule, coordination and monitoring progress of key initiatives, including stakeholder engagement with the Program Technical Delivery and Sustainment group
- Working through complex issues based on assessments of a range of evidence to inform resolution outcomes
- Demonstrated experience in undertaking routine tasks related to project support including daily administrative duties, records management, coordination of meeting activities and secretariat support for project and governance boards.
- Familiarity with PRINCE2 and Managing Successful Projects (MSP) frameworks

To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. Due to the work environment, our client has requested that all candidates are required to hold a current NV1 Security Clearance.
