About the Company

Our client’s primary role is to defend Australia and its national interests, promote security and stability, and support the Australian community as directed by the Government.

About the role

You will be responsible for working under direction as a member of a team responsible for developing software, integrating Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) and Government Off the Shelf (GOTS) software, documenting technical processes and assisting with testing and deployment.

Role Responsibilities
  • Takes responsibility for the development of software using a variety of software languages and development environments, to ensure it meets business requirements.
  • Deliver scripting using a variety of languages (e.g. javascript) and secondary skills (e.g. SQL).
  • Lead the development of software that supports high quality User Experience outcomes.
  • Develop a schedule of work and report on progress.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in leading practical integration work under the technical direction of the system /service designer.
  • Demonstrated experience in assigning work packages, monitors performance and manages change control dynamically, to optimise productivity.
  • Takes technical responsibility for all stages and/or iterations in a software development project, providing method specific technical advice and guidance to project stakeholders.
The successful be candidate will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 5.

Security Requirements:

Due to the nature of the work environment, our client requires candidates to hold an active TSPV Security Clearance. The successful candidate will need to undergo an additional security assessment before commencing in the role.
