About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Test Lead to join a high-performing team responsible for end-to-end testing of SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya platforms. You’ll play a key role in managing testing roadmaps, vendor relationships, and migration impact testing for critical credit risk and regulatory reporting projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of a 12-month forward-looking testing roadmap for credit risk, covering all types of testing across the UNITE platform.
- Oversee migration impact testing, with a focus on data requirements from upstream systems and third-party service providers (TSPs).
- Manage centralised business test scenario documentation for UNITE migration.
- Align testing scope and dependencies between IAT, EET, and Dress Rehearsal phases.
- Establish and govern a Testing Working Group with key stakeholders to proactively drive testing activities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure clear communication and alignment on testing objectives.
- Manage vendor resources and ensure effective vendor performance.
- Utilise Unix-based file systems and manage SAS datasets as part of the testing process.
- Apply DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Pipelines) to streamline testing workflows.
- Proficiency in SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya.
- Strong test management and vendor management experience.
- Understanding of data lineage, metadata cataloguing, and regulatory reporting frameworks.
- Experience working with Unix-based file systems and SAS datasets.
- Hands-on experience with Python, CI/CD tools, and DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Proven ability to lead and manage vendor resources.
- Experience in large-scale data migration or regulatory reporting projects.
- Familiarity with credit risk platforms and financial services environments.
This is a long-term contract role based in Sydney. You’ll play a key role in delivering robust, compliant, and high-impact testing solutions in a dynamic enterprise environment.
