John McCluskey
Managing Director
John McCluskey, Whizdom’s Founder and Managing Director, is a seasoned professional in recruitment, technology, and business leadership with over two decades of experience. He leads Whizdom’s strategic direction across business development, partnerships, governance, and technology, and previously served as a Board Member of APSCo Australia, where he actively advocated for small to medium enterprises.
Since founding Whizdom in 2006, John has drawn on his deep expertise in IT and electronics, shaped by his early career in the Australian Navy and extensive work on major Government infrastructure projects. His qualifications include an Associate Diploma in Electronic Engineering, PRINCE2 certification, and ITIL Practitioner status.
John’s vision for Whizdom was to create a career management service that empowers contractors and consultants to focus on their strengths, while Whizdom handles the complexities of business operations. His passion for connecting people with meaningful work continues to drive Whizdom’s growth and reputation.
