About the Role
The Senior Full Stack Software Engineer will join an experienced, multi‑disciplinary digital delivery team responsible for the ongoing design, development, testing, and delivery of modern digital services. Reporting to a Section Manager, this role will play a key part in building solutions that directly support business operations and external users.
You will work closely with technical and business stakeholders in an agile environment, contributing across the full software development lifecycle. The role sits within a major, multi‑year program replacing a core enterprise system that underpins nationally significant licensing, compliance, and enforcement activities.
This position is based in the ACT with hybrid working arrangements (three days in the office, two days remote), offering the opportunity to contribute to high‑impact digital services while working with contemporary technologies and practices.
The Successful Candidate
The ideal candidate is a proactive, experienced Full Stack Engineer who enjoys working in collaborative, agile teams and contributing to large‑scale digital programs.
You will bring:
- Demonstrated senior‑level experience designing and developing full stack solutions in complex environments
- Proven experience with model‑driven application development using Microsoft D365 / Power Apps / Dataverse
- Strong capability developing RESTful APIs using .NET
- Experience extending Dataverse solutions using Azure Function Apps
- Expertise building single‑page applications with ReactJS, using JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience working in agile delivery teams, including estimation and participation in ceremonies
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- A proactive mindset, excellent problem‑solving skills, and the ability to self‑manage
- Azure Pipelines and CI/CD
- GraphQL
- Broader experience across Microsoft Azure technologies
- Tertiary qualifications in software engineering or a related discipline and/or relevant industry certifications

Location: The role is based in Canberra ACT.
Contract terms: 12 months from commencement date, plus rolling extensions at our clients discretion.
Experience Level: Senior – EL1 Equivalent
Security Requirements: Must be an Australian Citizens with an active Baseline or higher security clearance.
