About the role
Assist in the provision of clerical and administrative support and assistance with projects including research and liaising with stakeholders to meet the needs of clients, including customer enquiries, daily correspondence, data entry and records management.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Maintain information, record management, and use various databases.
- Respond to telephone and/or counter enquiries from clients and provide a timely and effective information and referral service.
- Prepare routine correspondence and documents.
- Perform word processing, data entry, preparation of standard correspondence, as well as maintaining electronic and file records.
- Ensure confidentiality is maintained in carrying out day to day work.
- Seek advice and guidance from more experienced staff when dealing with enquiries or issues that are more complex or difficult in nature.
- Assist in relevant projects including research and liaison with stakeholders.

- Timely service that responds to the needs of the business centre clients.
- Effective communication at all levels in a variety of situations including both internal and external stakeholders.
- Adapting to frequent change to workload and processes.
