About Our Client

Our client is a leading provider of essential water, wastewater, drainage, and bulk irrigation services across Western Australia, supporting over 2 million residents and businesses across a vast area of 2.6 million square kilometres. As a government-owned utility, they play a critical role in delivering sustainable and reliable water solutions to urban and regional communities.

About the role:

In this role, you will work closely with cross‑functional teams to help them embed Agile principles, improve delivery capability, and drive continuous improvement across all day‑to‑day activities. You will play a key part in shaping a culture of collaboration, transparency, and high performance.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Certified SAFe Agile Coach (e.g., SAFe Program Consultant / SPC).
  • 5–7+ years’ experience in dedicated SAFe Agile coaching roles across enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience successfully coaching multiple teams simultaneously in SAFe adoption.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Coaching, mentoring, and supporting on‑site and remote teams in adopting and effectively implementing the SAFe Agile methodology.
  • Facilitating the development of Agile mindsets and practices across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Leading Agile ceremonies such as PI Planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and workshops.
  • Assessing current team maturity levels and creating tailored coaching plans to uplift capability.
  • Guiding leadership and team members in applying Lean‑Agile principles to improve processes, delivery outcomes, and team performance.
  • Helping remove impediments and fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders to ensure alignment with SAFe frameworks and organisational goals.
 

The Successful Candidate:

  • Deep understanding of SAFe principles, Lean‑Agile practices, and scaled delivery environments.
  • Demonstrated capability in coaching Agile Release Trains (ARTs), Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and leadership teams.
  • Solid experience facilitating workshops, planning sessions, and Agile ceremonies across distributed teams.
