About the role
Identify and finalise new use cases and configuration needs to optimise revenue, resource allocation, and compliance.
Where applicable introduce identified functionality and development of dashboards and reports, ensuring they remain relevant and fit-for-purpose to track enrolment and financial targets

Key areas of focus
  • Stakeholder engagement to elicit, document, and analyse business needs specifically related to dashboard and reporting requirements.
  • Define the project scope, requirements, and data modelling needs, aligning them with strategic planning objectives.
  • Identify and finalise new use cases and configuration needs to optimise revenue, resource allocation, and compliance.
  • Where applicable introduce identified functionality and development of dashboards and reports, ensuring they remain relevant and fit-for-purpose to track enrolment and financial targets
  • Translate business objectives into clear, actionable requirements for dashboards and reports, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure dashboards are designed and developed according to business requirements, acting as a bridge between business users and developers.
  • Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases for dashboard features and enhancements.
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback to refine dashboard solutions.
  • Support adoption and change management for new dashboards, including training and documentation.
  • Ensure dashboards and reports adhere to data governance, compliance, and quality standards.
  • Communicate business benefits and insights derived from dashboards, focusing on efficiency, decision support, and value realization
 
Key responsibilities
  • Strong understanding of Power BI (or similar BI tools) from a business analysis perspective: requirements gathering, user story creation, and translating business needs into dashboard specifications.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to define key metrics, KPIs, and data visualization needs.
  • Familiarity with data modelling concepts and how they impact dashboard design and usability.
  • Experience in documenting and prioritising dashboard requirements, wireframing, and prototyping.
  • Knowledge of best practices in dashboard usability, accessibility, and user experience.
  • Understanding of data governance, compliance, and quality assurance as they relate to reporting.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills to bridge business and technical perspectives.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills focused on delivering actionable insights through dashboards.
  • Experience with tools like JIRA for tracking requirements and progress.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within deadlines; adaptability and attention to detail.
The Successful Candidate
  • Demonstrated experience operating at a Senior level, leading engagements with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong capability in facilitating workshops and stakeholder sessions, including with executive or senior-level audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with ambiguous or undefined requirements, with a track record of effectively eliciting, shaping, and translating these into clear, actionable solutions.
  • Experience in data-related initiatives is desirable. Candidates with exposure to forecasting projects and/or experience within the Finance sector will be highly regarded.
