About the Role
We are seeking experienced Business Analysts to support the development and sustainment of complex, technology-enabled capabilities in cyber security and cloud environments.
In this role, you will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and translate requirements into high-quality, delivery-ready artefacts. You’ll play a key part in shaping future-state capabilities and ensuring solutions align with organisational objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading stakeholder engagement across business and technical teams
- Eliciting, analysing, and validating complex requirements
- Producing high-quality artefacts (e.g. process models, use cases, BRDs)
- Maintaining traceability from business needs through to delivery and testing
- Supporting system and user acceptance testing, including development of test cases
- Managing documentation and artefacts in tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Contributing to governance, risk, and security documentation
- Supporting continuous improvement through data analysis and insights
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Proven experience (5+ years) delivering business analysis outcomes on complex ICT projects or programs
- Strong capability in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and validation
- Experience producing a broad range of business analysis artefacts (e.g. use cases, process maps, test plans, operating models)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and drive outcomes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
- Experience working in agile delivery environments
- Familiarity with cyber security, cloud, or highly regulated environments (desirable)

Location: The role is based in Canberra ACT.
Contract terms: 12 months from commencement date, plus 2x 12 month extensions
Experience Level: Senior – APS6 Equivalent
Security Requirements: Must be an Australian Citizens with an active NV1 or higher security clearance.
